Tickets are $50 per person. Benefit Sponsorship levels of $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 are available for purchase as well.

Charlene Baldassaro is an operating room nurse at West Jefferson Medical Center who was diag-nosed in 2009 with colon cancer. She has spent her professional career, including her training at Charity Hospital, caring for the sick. Now she is in need of our help.

Since undergoing treatment for her condition (which includes surgery, chemotherapy and radia-tion), she has been unable to work. She is traveling regularly to Houston for treatments at MD An-derson. The insurance premiums through her husband’s employer are astronomical. Without her income, the financial burden is enormous.

Charlene is a fun-loving wife to Mark and devoted mother of two – Lauren (9) and Logan (8), who is autistic and requires special care. Fortunately for the family, Charlene’s mother has moved in with them to help out. Throughout her ordeal, Charlene has maintained her positive attitude and good-natured personality.

To help ease the financial burden of her ongoing medical care, we are hosting a fundraiser and hope you can join us.
